Eyeliner for Dummy’s Part 1
Where to begin where to begin….first of all READ THIS! Do not pass go, do not collect 200 just read. I know sometimes its easy to dismiss all my writing and just go straight to the pictures, and that’s fine, it doesn’t bother me, id probably do the same, but for this tutorial please read because what a write might help you out with your eyeliner 911. That said Wat i have to say is a matter of opinion your don’t have to do your eyeliner the way i do it these are just some tips i think would be helpful to you but that might not be wat works for you, who knows try it, let me know how it goes. On to the tutorial
Before you begin- There Are several types of eyeliner, gel, liquid, pen, pencil and even eye shadow. There are also several brushes made to help and apply, pointed, straight slanted bent etc. What to use is entirely based on preference and up to you, so play around and figure out what works for you.
Basics-So lets start with the basics if your are absolutely terrible at applying eyeliner i recommend outlining your shape with an eyeshadow start. Just follow your upper lash (not that hard) when you get to the end of your eye stop. Next draw a line from the corner of your eye up and out. (not making sense?) follow the natural line of your lower lash line to help you out. Connect the tip of this line to the line you created above your lash line, this should create a triangle. Fill in the empty space and vuala! Not so hard huh. Now you can leave this as is or go over it with liquid or gel eyeliner all you have to to is trace over it.
Same method, this time used with liquid eyeliner. This style of eyeliner is called a kitten flick.
So its not to hard. This is some pretty basic stuff. Once you’ve learned how to achieve this basic kitten flick you can really take your liner to the moon. There are dozens and dozens of style that you can do. I will do a follow up post on the different styles. I really hope this was helpful, this seems to be one of the things girls have the most trouble with, check out my other blogs for more tutorials and please feel free to make any suggestions. Have a great day!!!
