So this is a really fun and edgy look. I am so in love it and i think it would be a great one for new years or any party look. Now the one thing (to me) that makes this look stand out is the type of black you use. I think that the color for this eye is a black shimmer color, one that’s got lots of sparkles. There are a couple blacks out there that fall in this category. I used a loose pigment called android by illamasqua, you can also use Stella from sugar pill, black tide from mac or eternal black from l’oreal. Start by priming your lids, this will ensure that your shadow doesn’t crease or move. Now take a black creamy kohl pencil and etch out the shape you want. Start by lining below your lower lash line and bringing that line pretty far out when you reach the end. Also bring this liner all the way in. Next fill in your eyelid and connecting that black to the line you preciously created, fill in any gaps. Don’t worry if it looks a little sloppy.

Next use a shader brush to slightly blend out the edges, use still want this liner to be defined but not super sharp. This is where the fun part starts, after youve got the basic shape your want grab your shimmery black and pack this all over your black kohl pencil, pat this color on to ensure minimal fall out.

Next go back to your kohl pencil and create a sharp corner on the inner corner of your eyes creating a cat eye. Again take your shimmery black and pat this over where you’ve just place this kohl liner. Now taking some makeup remover and a sharp q-tip (or a makeup remover wipe), clean up the area under your eye and make the bottom edge of your shadow very sharp. Make sure the inner corner of your eye is also very sharp. Add some false lashes and a thick coat of mascara to your upper and lower eyelashes.
